The Hand blown Ribbon Veil Glass Bell is created by Virginia and Tony at their glassblowing studio in Halton Hills, On. Filigree and Ribbon Glass objects are one of Virginia's favourite things to make. Her Ribbon Veil Glass Bells are highly collectible. They are in many private and public collections throughout the world.
Virginia selects the glass rods carefully to match in size, twist and pattern. The rods go on a fire proof plate and arranged to display a distinct pattern. They are fused and picked up on the glassblowing pipe and they are blown into the desired shape and size. This forms a unique pattern throughout the bell. This bell has a beautiful handle with a matching ribbon cane from the body of the bell wrapped elegantly around it.
This Ribbon Veil Bell displays precise colorful Purple and Pink Ribbon Canes alternating with pink veil canes. This Bell has a black lip wrap. The handle is made from a matching Latticino cane pressed into the handle. The clapper stem is the purple and ruby ribbon cane with a matching marble like ball held in place with sterling silver jewelry findings.
