The Blown Hollow Filigrana Bead Necklaces are our Signature Series. Virginia and Tony create the hollow blown beads at their glassblowing studio in Halton Hills On.  

For the more complex blown beads Virginia selects the glass rods  very carefully to match in size, twist and pattern. The rods go on a fire proof plate and arranged to display a distinct pattern. Then fused and picked up on the glassblowing pipe, formed and blown into the desired shape and size. This creates a uniquely formed pattern throughout the blown hollow glass bead.

This elaborate form of Filigrana Glass is responsible for the fame of Murano style glass today.

The patterns and colors to be combined in these Handblown Filigree Glass Pendant Necklaces are almost limitless.
