The Hand blown Filigree Ribbon Glass Bell is created by Virginia and Tony at their glassblowing studio in Halton Hills, On. Filigree and Ribbon Glass objects are one of Virginia's favourite things to make. Her Filigree Ribbon Glass Bell are highly collectible. They are in many private and public collections throughout the world.
Virginia selects the glass rods carefully to match in size, twist and pattern. The rods go on a fire proof plate and arranged to display a distinct pattern. They are fused and picked up on the glassblowing pipe and they are blown into the desired shape and size. This forms a unique pattern throughout the bell. This bell has a beautiful handle with a matching ribbon cane from the body of the bell wrapped elegantly around it.
